Something is out of whack here

[edit]
Here's another one. Dark hair

All the pictures of Barb that we have show her with dark hair, black or almost black really. But then in the body of the article she is described as blonde.

Autobiographical passages occurred in "A Hero of Our Time". According to Lermontov's first biographer, Pavel Viskovatov, everyone who read the chapter "Princess Mary" recognized the Bakhmetevs in the characters of Faith and her husband.[2] Lermontov's description of his female characters speak for themselves... Princess Faith: "...she is medium height, blonde hair, she has deep eyes" ("deep" meaning "dark" in this context)

From a poem by a child: "And the quick eyes and golden curls,/ and the sonorous voice!/ Is it not true, as they say,/ that you like her?"

...This characteristic feature, the dark eyes and blonde hair, is present almost everywhere, except perhaps in the poem where the term "dark eyes" is replace with "wing-footed"."

So I mean these sources are saying "You can tell he's referring to Barbara, since he talks about blond hair..." This does not seem to jibe with the pictures, please advise. Herostratus (talk) 01:50, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
